The Qur’an before the interface
The Qur’an text stays central. Interface elements support reading instead of competing with it.

Why Qiraa exists
Many people want a steadier relationship with the Qur’an but begin from very different places. One learner is meeting Arabic letters for the first time. Another reads but wants better consistency. Another is memorizing, returning after years away, or helping a child practise without pressure.
Most digital experiences either offer a library without a path or add so many scores, feeds, and rewards that the learning becomes secondary. Qiraa is built around a quieter question: what is the next useful action for this learner, in the time they have today?
That is why the product joins letters, lessons, mushaf reading, listening, recitation guidance, hifz review, goals, and family learning. The modes are distinct, but the learner should never feel as if they are assembling their own curriculum from unrelated tools.
AI is used where it can reduce friction: following a recitation, locating a likely passage, or pointing to a place worth reviewing. It remains fallible, reviewable, and separate from the authority of the Qur’an text and qualified teaching.
Our standard is not how long someone stays in Qiraa. It is whether they can begin with clarity, practise with attention, and return to the Qur’an with less resistance tomorrow.
Our principles
The standards we return to for every lesson, screen, and AI model.
The Qur’an text stays central. Interface elements support reading instead of competing with it.
Every cue should clearly answer what the learner can do on the next attempt.
We name the limits of the technology and make AI results reviewable and dismissible.
We process what the feature needs and separate cloud backup, sharing, and audio choices.
The experience does not reward rushing or punish a learner for a missed day or modest beginning.
Each learner keeps their own goal, privacy, and progress even when the family learns together.
A product with a point of view
The visual system is restrained on purpose: warm surfaces, clear type, consistent controls, and enough space for the Qur’an and the learner’s attention.

Our position
The commitments shaping Qiraa as the product grows.
Qiraa is a learning and practice product. It does not issue religious rulings, certify ijazah, replace a teacher, or claim spiritual authority.
AI feedback is treated as fallible. Learners can review and dismiss possible mistakes, and the product states when a teacher or trusted reference should remain the authority.
Qiraa is designed for adults, families, and younger learners under appropriate parent or guardian supervision. Profiles, family controls, and privacy choices are separated where the product needs them.
English and Arabic are the initial interface languages. The underlying learning journey is designed for learners across countries, backgrounds, ages, and starting levels.
Follow the work
We are building Qiraa carefully and would rather make the next step genuinely useful than add another distracting feature.
